THE BOOSTER 2025

The Booster is an intensive acceleration program designed to support XR creators in the early stages of project development. It helps participants refine their pitch, strengthen presentation skills, and explore development and financing strategies tailored to immersive content. The program includes online masterclasses and on-site participation at United XR Europe in Brussels. Selected projects are pitched during EMIC, the European Market for Immersive Creativity, to co-producers, distributors, film funds, and key decision-makers. Participants benefit from curated B2B meetings, targeted networking, and increased visibility within the European XR ecosystem.

CALL FOR PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT

For Whom?

The Booster is designed for international XR creators developing an immersive project—whether narrative, artistic, documentary, or experiential—with strong international potential. Projects should be in the early stages of development and actively looking for creative collaborators, co-producers, distributors, or funding partners to move forward.

The program is open to studios, independent creators, collectives, and production companies working in XR, with a clear vision and readiness to engage with the European and international market.

Each selected project can be represented by up to three team members, who will benefit from the full Booster experience, including tailored coaching, curated B2B meetings, visibility within EMIC, and direct access to decision-makers during United XR Europe in Brussels.

Experts

The Booster is curated and coordinated by Sylvain Grain, a French producer and XR consultant, and a leading expert in immersive content development and international co-production.

With years of experience guiding creators through the creative and financing process, Sylvain brings personalized guidance to each selected project, helping teams sharpen their pitch, define their positioning, and refine their strategy.

Throughout the program, participants also benefit from exclusive online masterclasses led by invited mentors—renowned professionals from across the XR industry, including producers, distributors, creative technologists, and market experts. These sessions provide valuable insights into the latest trends, best practices, and real-world case studies, creating a unique learning experience that connects creators with the evolving European and global XR landscape.

This expert-led support is a key component of the Booster’s mission: to prepare each project to confidently enter the EMIC market at United XR Europe, and to facilitate meaningful, long-term connections with potential partners.

The invited experts for The Booster 2025 will be announced over the summer.

Milestones

  • Call for projects open: 10 April – 15 September 2025
  • Acceptance confirmation: 15 October 2025
  • Online workshop (3 days): 24 November – 4 December 2025
  • United XR Europe: 8–10 December 2025

Participation Fee

  1. Submission is free of charge.
  2. If your project is selected, the participation fee will be:
    • 400 € (+ 21% VAT) for Team Member #1
    • 300 € (+ 21% VAT) for Team Member #2
    • 200 € (+ 21% VAT) for Team Member #3

The fee includes:

  • A free FULL PASS to United XR Europe

  • On-site presentation in front of a jury
  • On-site networking meetings
  • Discounted tickets to the XR Awards Gala (250€ → 125€)
