UnitedXR Europe 2025 — Day 3 Recap

The final day of UnitedXR Europe closed out a vibrant few days of XR activity in Brussels. After a long Day 2 that stretched late into the evening with the XR Awards Gala, many attendees returned this morning ready for one more round of sessions, meetings and conversations.

Morning Activity: EU Village, Main Stage Sessions and EMIC
The day began with the EU Village reopening in Shed 1 at 9:00, giving visitors another chance to meet EU-funded projects, research groups and European XR associations. Shortly after, the Main Stage hosted 6DOF (6 Degrees of Female): Rewriting Rules for Industries of Tomorrow, a reflective session on leadership, representation and the evolving roles women are shaping across immersive technology.

From 10:00 to 14:30, the Pitch Stage stayed active with a full block of EMIC meet-ups, bringing creative teams, producers and regional ecosystems together for dedicated sessions:
- Meet the Northern German Creators, sponsored by MOIN
- Meet the Gaming Industry Ecosystem
- Meet the Dutch Creators
- Meet the UK-BE Ecosystems
- UK-BE Start-up Pitch
Sessions Across the Tracks
The Culture & Creative Industries Track opened at 11:00 with Between Technology, Sound and Sensitivity: New Immersive Narratives, exploring new artistic approaches to immersive work.
Also at 11:00, the Start-Up & Investors Track hosted its Investor Panel, drawing founders and investors looking to connect around early-stage opportunities in XR and AI.
At the same time, the expo opened its doors for the final time this year. Attendees took their last opportunity to explore demos, reconnect with exhibitors and wrap up discussions started earlier in the week.
At 12:15 the Start-up Pitch Competition gathered the finalists selected through the Builders Program. The room filled quickly as teams presented their projects on stage. Here's the list of finalists that took the stage today.

Afternoon Highlights: Kent Bye, Market Data and the Final Sessions
At 14:00 Kent Bye took the Main Stage to present What the Top Trends in Immersive Storytelling Can Teach the XR Industry, highlighting creative patterns shaping the way immersive experiences are produced and understood.
Following this, at 14:15 Bastien Remy from the European Commission took the stage to share EU XR Market Data, providing an updated view of Europe’s XR ecosystem.
Closing the Event: Wrap-up and Best in Show Awards
At 15:45 the community gathered on the Main Stage for the UnitedXR Europe Wrap-up and Best in Show Awards. The final session celebrated the work presented throughout the week and acknowledged the teams whose contributions stood out during the show.

UnitedXR Europe 2025 closed its doors with a sense of momentum and community, marking the end of three days filled with exchanges, collaboration and ideas that will carry forward long after the event.
