After weeks of reviewing applications from creators, studios and founders around the world, we are proud to announce the finalists of the UnitedXR Europe 2026 Booster Programs. Across four programs, Narratives, Games, Builders and Startups, 36 projects will join us for mentorship, masterclasses and live pitches in Brussels this December. The Booster Programs are designed to help early-stage XR projects take their next step. Selected teams take part in an online workshop in mid-November, with masterclasses, pitch coaching and rehearsals, before travelling to [UnitedXR Europe](https://unitedxr.eu/) in Brussels from 7 to 9 December 2026. There, they will pitch on stage to producers, publishers, investors and industry leaders, take part in guaranteed one-to-one meetings and tailored mentorship sessions, and connect with the wider community at our nightly networking mixers. Here are the teams who made the cut. ### Booster Program for Narratives Coordinated by [Sylvain Grain](https://unitedxr.eu/2026-speakers#speaker=3588-sylvain-grain), a French producer and XR consultant with more than 20 years of experience across film, media and immersive content, the Narratives track supports artistic, documentary and experiential AR/VR works on pitching, financing, co-production and distribution. Finalists will pitch live to co-producers, distributors, film funds and venue curators. - [**Gut Instinct**](http://shtik.xyz) (United Kingdom), shtik: a comic sci-ed odyssey where you become a piece of food and travel through the digestive system. - [**Symphony of the Deep**](https://immersivelab.ch) (Switzerland / France), AVRIL: a multiplayer underwater journey in which participants embody sperm whales and use their voices to echolocate. - [**Kurkuma XR**](https://strayfactory.com/) (India / Germany), Stray Factory & Mayana Film: a speculative retrofuturist experience about a migrant care worker and the AI built to replace her. - [**In My Skin**](https://metaxu.studio) (United Kingdom), Metaxu Studio: a single-user VR social drama following an unmarried woman's pregnancy, commissioned by Cent pour cent Mamans. - [**Monumental**](https://www.zaziefilms.ca) (Canada), Zazie Films: an AR-VR piece that brings back the first women to compete in Olympic track and field in 1928. - [**Plastic Seas**](https://maryanntalavera.wixsite.com/rolos) (United States), Rolos Productions: a darkly comic mixed reality story narrated by a plastic bottle, where your recycling choices shape a marine world. - [**GNIAK MAMBI – The Egg That Didn't Want to Hatch**](https://www.paraboleurs.com) (France), Les Paraboleurs: a fulldome stop-motion tale guided by a live storyteller, rooted in African oral tradition. - [**Insight Realm**](https://interplayer.space/) (United States), Binna Lee: a poetic mixed reality garden where movement and gesture reveal the patterns through which we see ourselves. - [**The Zmeu**](https://www.duellmann-filmproduktion.com) (Germany / Romania), Duellmann Filmproduktion: an animated fairytale set in Romania's Hoia-Baciu forest, where your choices decide a dragon's fate. - [**FONCE**](https://cine-litte.com) (Germany), CINE-LITTE Productions: an animated war fairy tale about a fallen soldier's ghost and a river fairy, with two possible endings. ### Booster Program for Games Coordinated by [Arjuna "AJ" Sath](https://unitedxr.eu/2026-speakers#speaker=3603-arjuna-aj-sath) and Fernanda Pagani, with Sönke Kirchhof contributing to selection and online mentoring, the Games track supports immersive AR/VR games on game design, business models and connections with publishers and investors. At UnitedXR Europe, from 7 to 9 December 2026, they will take the stage in front of decision-makers and present their work to the community.
